Early Careers - Automation Programmer Intern

Location: Chicago, Illinois; flex employees are expected to work in the office at least three days per week.

Base pay range: $19.13–$34.17.

What you will do

• Participate in a formal 10-week paid internship and contribute to business and technical projects.
• Design, test, and implement production automation and database solutions using technologies such as C#, Visual Basic, VB.NET, and SQL.
• Research, analyze data, and develop recommendations that support business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams and support internally developed applications and processes.
• Own assigned deliverables with guidance from a mentor and manager.
• Deliver a final presentation to department leadership covering project results and recommendations.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, information technology, or information management.
• Rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Knowledge or experience with C#, VB.NET, SQL, and Visual Basic.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with practical experience using Excel, Word, and Access.
• Must be available for the full 10-week program and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
