Client Accounting & Advisory Services Manager (NetSuite)

hirify.global provides tax, assurance, consulting, outsourced accounting, controllership, and CFO-level advisory services through its Client Accounting and Advisory Services team.

What you will do

• Lead recurring accounting and advisory engagements for manufacturing and distribution customers, managing scope, timelines, risks, deliverables, and customer relationships.
• Advise customers on NetSuite accounting operations, reporting structures, workflows, system configuration, and process optimization.
• Oversee inventory reconciliations, rollforwards, reserves, cycle counts, physical inventory procedures, costing, landed cost allocations, overhead, and cost of goods sold analysis.
• Review financial statements, workpapers, reconciliations, supporting schedules, management reports, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and working capital metrics.
• Identify opportunities for reporting, automation, AI, data analytics, system optimization, implementation, and integration improvements.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, train, and provide developmental feedback to engagement team members while coordinating domestic and overseas resources when applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6+ years of public accounting and industry experience.
• Experience serving manufacturing, distribution, or other inventory-intensive businesses.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial statements, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Experience supervising, coaching, training, and reviewing team member work.
• NetSuite experience is required; proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, and Copilot is expected.

Nice to have

• CPA or CMA certification.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Enterprise, Fishbowl, Cin7, or Katana.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, working capital optimization, or Controller and CFO advisory initiatives.
