Construction Manager (Oil & Gas)

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; initially based at the client’s or contractor’s office, with possible later assignment to an offshore site

What you will do

• Lead and oversee construction and installation activities for an ADNOC Offshore project.
• Supervise EPC contractor performance across fabrication, onshore construction, offshore transportation and installation, mechanical completion, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate construction interfaces among engineering, procurement, project controls, HSE, quality, commissioning, fabrication yards, offshore teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Review construction execution plans, procedures, work methodologies, schedules, progress reports, and completion documentation.
• Monitor progress, risks, constraints, technical issues, and corrective or recovery actions against the approved project schedule.
• Coordinate brownfield modifications and interfaces with existing facilities while supporting safe and compliant project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical, civil, structural, or a related discipline.
• Extensive oil and gas construction management experience, including significant offshore EPC project experience.
• Experience working in a PMC, client, or EPC environment and supervising contractors from fabrication through offshore installation and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of offshore transportation and installation, fabrication yards, mechanical completion, brownfield modifications, and multidisciplinary construction coordination.
• Understanding of EPC execution, construction interfaces, project schedules, progress measurement, contractor performance, HSE, and quality requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Previous ADNOC or ADNOC Offshore project experience.
• Experience with constructability reviews and pre-commissioning and commissioning support.
