Residences Shift Engineer - BVLGARI Resort Dubai

What you will do

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and basic repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic, electronic, and building systems.
• Maintain kitchen and mechanical room equipment, tools, utility shut-offs, landscaping systems, inventories, and supplies.
• Complete painting, drywall, wood trim, light bulb, air-conditioning filter, guestroom, and general facility repairs.
• Communicate daily activities and maintenance issues to other shifts while following approved procedures.
• Follow lockout/tagout, safety, security, housekeeping, and guest service standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and work on stairs, ramps, ladders, and overhead or below-knee areas.
• Basic computer skills, including entering air-handler schedules and making temperature changes.
