Platform Engineer 3 (Platform Engineering)

What you will do

• Provide level 3 and level 4 server production support, including problem identification, ticket documentation, and closure.
• Design strategic, tailored platform solutions for specific client requests.
• Perform platform administration and anticipate problems while analyzing risk-mitigation options.
• Explain the business value and impact of complex technical and non-technical information and escalate issues appropriately.
• Document small- to medium-scale projects and deliver presentations with minimal supervision.
• Serve as an informal technical leader on tactical problems and maintain current technical skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of related experience in a platform engineering role.
• Strong technical expertise and professional mastery to recommend process improvements.
• Organizational skills and critical thinking beyond runbook-based problem resolution.
• Proactive communication with management about system and project status and issues.
• Two years of experience with Office 365 products, plus strong grammar, spelling, typing, and relationship-building skills.
