Digital Process & Agent Automation Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work in Bucharest, Romania, supporting the Switchgears factory in Berlin, Germany

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using UiPath, Python, and API integrations.
• Implement AI technologies and intelligent agent frameworks for cognitive automation.
• Refactor and modularize existing automations to improve scalability, maintainability, and independence from individual solutions.
• Build end-to-end data pipelines, data models, and analytics dashboards for factory data integration and operational decisions.
• Analyze manufacturing workflows, identify digital transformation opportunities, and translate operational requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and training to factory stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Professional experience in software development, process automation, or data engineering, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Python, UiPath/RPA, API integration, software architecture, and code refactoring.
• Knowledge of AI agent frameworks, LLM integration, machine learning concepts, and cognitive automation.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, database management, data visualization, and business intelligence.
• Experience in requirements engineering, process optimization, and stakeholder management.
