Business Consultant (Life Insurance)

What you will do

• Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and the IT delivery team.
• Gather, analyze, and document requirements for core insurance software solutions.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and provide guidance throughout implementation.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and solution discussions.
• Coordinate UAT, support issue analysis, and contribute to testing and production deployment.
• Support project documentation, user training, change management, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with at least 3–5 years in a similar business analysis role.
• Strong knowledge of Life Insurance products, business processes, and software solutions.
• Experience with IT implementation or transformation projects involving business and IT stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and bridge business and IT teams.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary project teams, with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DXC GraphTalk or other core insurance software packages.
• Knowledge of Belgian Life Insurance regulatory and operational practices.
• Good knowledge of Dutch.
