Scheduling and Logistics Specialist

Location: Remote employee role associated with Carmel, Indiana, United States; full-time shifts may fall outside standard business hours. Periodic travel is required for training and operational alignment.

What you will do

• Establish, implement, and optimize daily inspector route structures and dispatch plans with the Director of Operations.
• Use route optimization software and analytical data to improve operational efficiency and communicate schedule updates.
• Manage daily routing activities within time, cost, quality, and resource constraints.
• Review operational data and route performance periodically to identify continuous optimization opportunities.
• Resolve inspector concerns, disputes, and complaints, escalating critical issues when needed.
• Collaborate with Dispatch, Field Managers, Field Inspectors, IT, and Operations Management on routing systems and field workflows.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in routing, logistics, or operational scheduling.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite and route optimization or GIS software.
• Strong analytical, geographical data interpretation, communication, problem-solving, and workload management skills.
• Availability for full-time shifts, including hours outside standard business hours.
• Willingness to travel periodically for training and operational alignment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• In-depth geographic routing knowledge within assigned coverage territories.
• Experience in automotive remarketing or field inspection.
