Senior Cost Manager (site based)

Location: Ashburn, Virginia, United States; on-site role with travel to the site 2 days per month

Salary: $109,000–$145,000 per year, depending on skills, education, and experience.

What you will do

• Participate in the full tender and bid process, from preparing documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Oversee project spend by preparing valuations and cost reports.
• Communicate project variations clearly to the relevant teams.
• Support the settlement of construction disputes and loss and expense claims.
• Enable informed project decisions through accurate cost documentation and timely communication.

Requirements

• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management across varied projects.
• A degree or comparable experience in a related construction discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to the site 2 days per month and travel for short periods to meet clients, partners, and team members.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and project teams.
