Branch Manager (Electrical Distribution)

Location: Middletown, Connecticut, United States — on-site

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and other legally permitted considerations.

What you will do

• Manage branch profitability, sales performance, P&L, budgets, assets, and operating expenses.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and train branch personnel while addressing performance and staffing issues.
• Develop customer digital adoption and sales strategies to support profitable business growth.
• Oversee inventory control, warehouse operations, facility security, equipment, and safety standards.
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, sales, marketing, and other business partners.
• Support deliveries and branch operations, including counter sales, order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping when required.

Requirements

• Must work on-site in Middletown, Connecticut, United States.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales, operations, electrical distribution, or a similar B2B industry.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; a four-year bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, sales strategy, team development, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems such as Solar Eclipse.
• A valid driver's license and additional driving qualifications are required if branch or customer deliveries are assigned.

Nice to have

• Certification to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Experience managing P&Ls and a bachelor's degree.
