Scientific Director, Immune Diseases and Inflammation, In Vitro Pharmacology

What you will do

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the in vitro immune disease assay and screening platform.
• Build client relationships, understand scientific needs, and support customer satisfaction.
• Provide scientific leadership across projects while maintaining innovation and scientific rigor.
• Monitor emerging immune disease research and recommend new capabilities and approaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to align strategies and create organizational synergies.
• Support business development and marketing through scientific presentations, client meetings, proposals, and marketing materials.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biology, Pharmacology, or a related discipline, with a focus on immune diseases, especially autoimmune diseases.
• At least 8 years of experience in a strategic or leadership role within a CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical setting.
• Strong publication record in immune diseases, particularly autoimmune diseases.
• Hands-on experience developing, validating, and analyzing in vitro assays for immune or inflammatory drug discovery.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills are required.
• Experience working collaboratively in a matrixed environment and supporting business growth through scientific expertise.
