SEO Specialist (AI)

Location: US Nationwide — Remote; open to residents of the 50 states and D.C.

Salary: $16.82–$25.62 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis for assigned pages and topics.
• Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headers, body content, internal links, and local school location pages.
• Refresh priority content using ranking, traffic, and engagement data.
• Identify indexation, canonical, crawl, structured data, and other technical SEO issues for the internal team.
• Create data-backed content briefs and review SEO content before publication.
• Provide monthly performance updates and maintain accurate, timely communication.

Requirements

• At least three years of hands-on SEO experience in-house, at an agency, or through equivalent experience.
• Strong keyword research, search intent mapping, analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with SEMrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
• Working knowledge of indexation, canonicals, internal linking, structured data, and other on-page technical elements.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, maintain high-quality work, and collaborate with a team.
• Ability to clear a required background check and reside in one of the 50 states or D.C.

Nice to have

• Experience in education, EdTech, or multi-location organizations.
• Experience with enterprise SEO tools such as BrightEdge.
• Familiarity with AI search visibility, enterprise content management systems, schema markup, and structured data implementation.
