Forward Deployed Engineer - AI Cybersecurity

Location: Central / MidEast / Midwest United States; candidates must be located in or able to relocate to the Central United States. The role operates in the CST / MST time zone and supports clients in that territory.

Annual base pay: $138,400.00–$207,600.00, plus possible incentive compensation, bonuses, restricted stock units, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead technical onboarding and implementation for new enterprise customers, including scope, milestones, planning, and success metrics.
• Own the post-sales technical relationship with customer engineering and security teams.
• Develop implementation plans that help customers achieve first time to value quickly and reliably.
• Identify blockers, expectation gaps, and skill gaps; manage risks and escalate issues when needed.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Services, Product, Support, and Development teams to ensure effective handoffs and issue resolution.
• Document technical guides, repeatable processes, implementation templates, and internal runbooks while gathering customer feedback for future product and service improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a post-sales technical role such as Technical Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, or Implementation Consultant.
• Experience building or deploying AI systems or applications.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, including networking, containers, and security protocols.
• Experience leading on-premises, hybrid, or complex SaaS deployments.
• Experience working with enterprise customers in regulated industries.
• Strong communication, project management, self-direction, and risk-management skills in high-growth environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML or cybersecurity products.
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration certification.
