Senior Manager, Global Procurement (Materials)

What you will do

• Build commodity monitoring frameworks covering global market shifts, raw material prices, currency movements, and supply risks.
• Develop material-specific clean sheets and establish transparent baseline costs for Tier 1 negotiations and margin reviews.
• Design Tier 2 and Tier 3 vendor strategies to consolidate volumes, improve availability, and increase direct-to-mill buying power.
• Lead RFPs and negotiations with raw material vendors, yarn spinners, mills, tanneries, and other upstream suppliers.
• Identify value-creation opportunities through verticalization, supply chain redesign, and volume consolidation.
• Partner with material sourcing, product sourcing, merchandising, production, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 12–15 years of experience in raw material sourcing, commodity procurement, or upstream supply chain management.
• Deep knowledge of textile raw materials, including yarns, fibers, fabrics, leather, and related commodities.
• Direct negotiation experience with mills, tanneries, yarn spinners, and raw material vendors.
• Experience with commodity hedging frameworks, global market indices, and material-specific clean sheets.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with comfort working with large datasets.
• Technical aptitude for using AI-powered platforms and LLMs for scenario analysis and procurement automation; a bachelor’s degree is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in upstream supply chain network design or consolidation.
• MBA or another advanced degree.
