Operations Manager, EU (3PL)

Location: Germany - Berlin; the role covers EU fulfillment centers and requires site visits across markets as needed.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day performance of 3PL partners across EU fulfillment centers, including order processing, SLAs, KPIs, and delivery performance.
• Coordinate inbound logistics, customs clearance at EU entry, supplier and freight-forwarder activities, and intra-EU stock movement.
• Balance inventory across warehouses and resolve mispicks, damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, delivery delays, and customs holds.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost per order, improve delivery speed, and enhance customer experience.
• Optimize WMS, OMS, and ERP integrations, including automation opportunities across multi-country operations.
• Build fulfillment dashboards and collaborate with customer service, supply chain, planning, engineering, and 3PL partners across countries and time zones.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience managing 3PL providers and warehouse operations across multiple EU countries in a high-volume ecommerce or retail environment.
• Strong experience with inbound, outbound, and inventory control across multiple warehouse locations.
• Knowledge of fulfillment SLAs and KPIs, including order accuracy, dispatch and delivery performance, and cost per order.
• Hands-on experience with WMS, OMS, and ERP platforms, plus strong analytical skills using Excel, SQL, or BI tools.
• Track record resolving operational issues and communicating effectively with partners and stakeholders across countries, cultures, and time zones.
• Business English is required.

Nice to have

• Fluency in an additional European language.
• Experience negotiating 3PL contracts across multiple EU countries.
• Experience scaling DTC or ecommerce operations in a fast-growing environment.
• Experience leading WMS or OMS integrations and fulfillment automation projects.
• Familiarity with duty deferment accounts, bonded warehousing, or other EU import cost-reduction schemes.
