Industrial Waste Lab Associate

Location: La Porte, Texas, United States; on-site laboratory work required

Salary: $18.85–$25.05 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze industrial waste samples according to established protocols.
• Calculate and report analytical results accurately and promptly.
• Operate and support analysis using GC, ICP, and calorimetry instrumentation.
• Sort and dispose of samples, clean glassware, and maintain orderly laboratory work areas.
• Follow the Waste Analysis Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan.
• Collect samples from tank trailers at some sites, including climbing ladders and working outdoors with provided safety equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Ability to climb stairs, stand for most of the shift, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Previous industrial waste laboratory experience is desired but not required.

• Knowledge of the waste industry.
