Press Operator 2 - 2nd Shift

Location: Monroe, WI, United States; onsite, 2nd shift Monday–Friday, approximately 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Salary: USD 25.00–28.50 per hour, plus a USD 2.00 per hour second-shift differential.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain multiple types of press equipment.
• Complete make-ready tasks, including hanging plates, installing cylinders, preparing blankets, and adjusting tension and register.
• Inspect plates and cylinders, verify image positioning, and make color corrections before production runs.
• Maintain print quality specifications throughout production.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform manufacturer-recommended periodic maintenance on presses.
• Complete minor repairs and replace worn or broken parts as needed.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, specifications, equipment, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications and select appropriate press settings, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to make precise control settings and operational adjustments.
• Experience with routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
• Knowledge of packing pressure requirements for different printing jobs.
• Ability to use a micrometer to mount and align printing plates correctly.
