What you will do

• Maintain and integrate hardware systems, operating systems, connectivity, and distributed IT environments.
• Analyze system performance and capacity, recommend upgrades, and support reliability and availability.
• Provide technical leadership for computing systems, systems integration, infrastructure projects, and application support.
• Review business and technical requirements, write specifications, implement system changes, and develop project plans.
• Coordinate diagnostics and issue resolution with internal teams, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Provide mentoring, contribute to technical standards and knowledge repositories, and participate in on-call support.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the core discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience supporting server and distributed systems, system integration, networking, and capacity planning.
• Ability to work with application teams, project managers, customers, vendors, and manufacturers.
• On-site work in Chicago, Illinois is associated with the role.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.
