hirify.global Defence and Space develops aerospace systems and supports aircraft design and systems integration projects.

What you will do

• Complete an 11-month internship alongside the Master’s in Airframe Technology at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
• Solve real aerospace engineering challenges with guidance from a company mentor.
• Work on airframe design, structural calculations, and aerostructure development.
• Apply CATIA for computer-aided design and digital mock-ups.
• Perform finite element modelling, structural testing, and mechanical characterization of aeronautical components.
• Analyze checkstress, fatigue, and damage tolerance.

Requirements

• Recent graduate with a master’s degree in aerospace, aeronautical, industrial, civil, or another related engineering discipline, or a recent bachelor’s graduate highly motivated by aerostructures.
• Background or strong focus on structural design and calculation.
• Advanced English is required; the master’s programme is delivered fully in English.
• Teamwork, initiative, ownership of projects and results-oriented thinking.
• Availability for a full-time, 35-hour-per-week onsite programme in Getafe, Spain, starting in April 2027.

Nice to have

• Spanish, French, and/or German language skills.
• International experience.

• Monday-to-Friday schedule, generally 08:00–15:00, with UC3M lectures Monday to Thursday from 17:00–21:00 and occasional Friday sessions.
