A330 MRTT B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe, Madrid, Spain; regular work abroad at customer and subcontractor sites is required for aircraft deliveries, tests, and service-bulletin work.

What you will do

• Prepare, perform, and certify base and line maintenance as B1 certifying staff.
• Prepare A330 MRTT aircraft for flight using Flight Operations test preparation sheets.
• Perform production work and support ground and flight-test campaigns.
• Carry out mechanical retrofit work and testing according to service bulletins and job cards.
• Investigate and resolve aircraft discrepancies, including troubleshooting, handling, and servicing.
• Support aircraft deliveries and service-bulletin or conversion work at customer and subcontractor sites abroad.

Requirements

• EASA Part 66 Category B1 licence with an unrestricted Airbus A330 rating for RR Trent 700 and GE CF6 engines is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of Airbus aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 2 years working on the A330 with RR Trent 700 and/or GE CF6 engines.
• Up-to-date aircraft training and experience records compliant with EASA requirements.
• Fluent English and negotiation-level Spanish.
• Experience with high-quality standards, technical documentation, maintenance manuals, work recording, and job traceability.
• Willingness to work abroad regularly for limited periods and to obtain national and NATO security clearance.

Nice to have

• EASA Part 66 Category B2 licence with an A330 rating.
• Military aircraft maintenance background.
• Existing national and NATO security clearance.
• Experience supporting A330 MRTT and A310 aircraft.
