Avionics Technical Service Representative (CF-18 Avionics)

Location: Bagotville, Quebec, Canada; onsite role

Salary: CAD 101,000–151,000 annually

What you will do

• Provide technical specialist assistance on CF-18 avionics systems to maintenance managers, technicians, operators, and operational units.
• Research and interpret CFTO, IETM, DMS/MRS, Master Parts File, Maintenance Record Set, NAVAIR, drawings, and other technical references.
• Support avionics installation troubleshooting, difficult system problem resolution, failure reporting, and unserviceability rectification.
• Participate in validation and verification of modifications, special inspections, system enhancements, and technical surveys.
• Coordinate with L3Harris, LCMM, CF-18 WSM, technical authorities, engineering, and aircraft maintenance personnel.
• Support CF-18 databases and publications, communicate technical developments, and assist with incident and accident investigations.

Requirements

• Relevant college or university degree, or equivalent CF-18/CF188 Hornet avionics experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in a CF188 operational unit.
• Current Level A Maintenance Authorizations on CF188 first- and second-line avionics systems.
• Detailed knowledge of CF-18 aircraft systems, including AVN, AVS, and ACS, as well as IETM and DMS/MRS.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
• Must be eligible for Controlled Goods Program registration and for Government of Canada Reliability and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearances, and must meet U.S. ITAR requirements.
