Field Service Manager (HVACR)

Location: Brantford, Canada. Hybrid work arrangement following onboarding, with travel across Canada required.

Base salary: CAD 120,000–150,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a national team of Field Service Technicians and Technical Specialists.
• Oversee customer installations, startups, commissioning, troubleshooting, emergency service, scheduling, and capacity planning across Canada.
• Build relationships with contractors, retailers, consultants, end users, and strategic accounts.
• Provide technical leadership for refrigeration controls, CO₂ systems, electronic controllers, monitoring solutions, and facility management technologies.
• Manage budgets, service revenue, costs, utilization, profitability, forecasting, and workforce planning.
• Promote safety, regulatory compliance, technical standards, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent education and industry experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in commercial refrigeration, HVACR, controls, or a related technical industry.
• At least 3 years of experience leading technical service teams.
• Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, controls, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading customer-facing service organizations and managing budgets, workforce planning, and operational performance.
• Ability and authorization to work and travel across Canada are required; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with CO₂ refrigeration and modern supermarket refrigeration technologies.
• Experience supporting national retail or grocery customers.
• Familiarity with electronic controls, enterprise management systems, or facility management platforms.
• Project management experience.
• English/French bilingualism.
