Location: Blue Ash, Ohio, at the Cincinnati-area facility; U.S. citizenship is required and the role requires eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Some travel to supplier sites is required, with less than 20% travel.

What you will do
- Map, analyze, and optimize supplier manufacturing processes to reduce waste, variability, cost, and production risk.
- Apply Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, statistical process control, and process capability studies to improve quality and repeatability.
- Assess supplier capabilities and maturity, provide technical coaching, and develop improvement plans and supplier scorecards.
- Support new product introduction through supplier qualification, design for manufacturability reviews, first article documentation, and production ramp-up.
- Investigate process failures, equipment issues, and production delays while driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Act as the technical liaison between suppliers and internal engineering, operations, procurement, and quality teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing process engineering, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of process engineering or manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in supplier management or supply chain operations.
- Experience with process optimization, root cause analysis, quality control, Lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T callouts.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance are required.

- Knowledge of quality management systems and Department of Defense regulatory requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and suppliers.
