What you will do
- Develop and maintain software applications for electrical power device management on Linux platforms.
- Create web services to enable remote access and control of electrical devices via web browsers.
- Modify the Linux kernel and implement backend functionality using Python.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, encryption, authentication, and authorization.
- Manage code versions and documentation using GitLab and Redmine according to QoS plans.
- Provide mentoring to less experienced team members and support other internal departments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as an embedded software developer.
- Solid knowledge and experience in modifying the Linux kernel.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- University degree in Engineering or a science field.
- Must be able to work on-site in Valencia, Spain.
Nice to have
- Experience with C programming language.
- Knowledge of Flask (backend) and Vue.js (frontend) frameworks.
- Experience with communication networks (TCP, Modbus) and Docker containers.
- Cybersecurity knowledge (SSL/TLS, LDAP, RBAC, DNS).
- Experience with Scrum methodologies and Git.
