Software Developer (Embedded/Linux)

What you will do

• Develop new projects and maintain and improve existing Linux-based software applications.
• Build complete applications for managing electrical power devices, including browser-accessible services for remote access and control.
• Develop backend software and user interfaces, and deploy applications on Linux platforms.
• Implement and maintain security measures including firewalls, encryption, authentication, and authorization.
• Use GitLab, Redmine, version-control, documentation, and collaborative development processes in line with quality procedures.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; support other departments and mentor less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience as an embedded software developer.
• Solid experience modifying the Linux kernel and developing with Python.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Engineering or university degree in a scientific field.
• Ability to define software architectures and specifications for complex products and analyze high-level requirements.
• Some travel is required, including analysis and testing at customer facilities when supporting other departments.

Nice to have

• Solid knowledge of C and experience with Flask or Vue.
• Knowledge of TCP, Modbus, TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, LDAP, and RBAC.
• Experience configuring and deploying Docker containers.
• Experience with Scrum and Git-based version control.
