IT Project Technician

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. The role supports computer moves within the corporate office and requires an active US government Secret security clearance.

Base salary: $55.80–$55.80 per hour.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair computer equipment and peripheral devices.
• Coordinate warranty and non-warranty part replacements with vendors.
• Plan and coordinate installations, preventative maintenance, hardware refreshes, and equipment procurement.
• Manage computer inventory and facilitate equipment moves with business partners and customers.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate issue remediation with IT staff.
• Manage vendor relationships, update IT service queues, and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret US government security clearance required.
• Experience with large enterprise IT delivery and familiarity with ITIL standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and applications.
• Strong communication, customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma with relevant industry certifications or a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
