HSE Engineer, Customer Projects and Sites

Location: Based in Gothenburg, Karlstad or Sundsvall, Sweden, with planned and ad hoc site presence typically lasting 1–4 weeks.

What you will do

• Provide project HSE engineering services for nominated EPC and high-risk EPS sales and delivery projects.
• Provide on-site safety supervision for large shutdowns and short-term projects.
• Train and coach project, site and subcontractor organizations on HSE management and social responsibility practices.
• Coordinate the HSE partner network and arrange subcontractor HSE Days.
• Participate in subcontractor audits and lead site HSE audits.
• Investigate and communicate customer-site HSE incidents, including leading serious incident investigations, and contribute to process development.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of HSE experience, including several years in multicultural customer projects and site HSE work.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in a global environment.
• Technical competence in customer-site HSE management, risk identification and mitigation, especially in EPC projects.
• Relevant academic degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or another scientific field.
• Knowledge of multi-site ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 management systems, plus internal auditing skills and incident investigation experience.
• Fluent written and verbal English and Swedish are required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Power BI, M-Files, SharePoint and Teams is expected.

Nice to have

• Professional HSE qualification such as NEBOSH, CSP or equivalent.
