Experienced Electronics Engineer

Location: Onsite at Axis HQ in Lund, Sweden

What you will do

• Develop electronics for body-worn cameras, recorders, sirens, decoders, and related system devices.
• Analyze requirements, develop concepts, design analog and digital circuits, select components, and create schematics using Xpedition.
• Supervise PCB layout and verify prototypes through hands-on laboratory work, troubleshooting, and soldering.
• Organize EMC and regulatory certifications and provide production support.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, firmware developers, and other specialists from concept development through product delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience with product development from early-stage conceptual and system-level design through verification and final EMC and regulatory approvals.
• Hands-on experience with schematic capture, advanced laboratory verification, and EMC testing.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaborate effectively within an engineering team.
• Strong motivation, communication skills, and an outgoing working style.

Nice to have

• Experience with RF or RF products and wireless technologies.
