EMC Test and Verification Engineer (EMC)

Location: On-site at Axis headquarters and EMC labs in Lund, Sweden. Limited travel to test houses in Sweden and Denmark is included.

What you will do

• Operate EMC chambers, test systems, instruments, and laboratory equipment.
• Maintain instruments and perform periodic system tests and sanity checks.
• Run pre-compliance EMC testing before external compliance testing.
• Prepare and manage test setups, device-under-test configurations, and chamber changes.
• Investigate faults and act as the main contact for external test houses.
• Develop and maintain EMC testing guidelines.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of EMC standards and ability to analyze new regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with EMC test setups and test equipment.
• Strong documentation skills, analytical thinking, and comfort with trend analysis.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
