Deputy IT Project Manager (IAM)

Location: Hybrid work with 3 days per week from the office in Gdańsk, Gdynia, Warszawa, or Łódź, Poland.

Rate: Up to 130 PLN/h net + VAT on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Support the RACF Project Leader in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities.
• Drive delivery across Business Delivery teams and manage project teams totaling 14 FTEs.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, focused workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
• Maintain action and decision logs, project documentation, progress trackers, status reports, and management presentations.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, and commitments, escalating them when appropriate.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve project delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience managing or coordinating IT projects in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong delivery management, project governance, reporting, planning, organizational, and risk management capabilities.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management and access control processes.
• Understanding of regulatory, audit, and risk management requirements within financial institutions.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with RACF or mainframe security environments.
• Experience with process analysis, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
