Senior Project Manager (Banking & Regulatory Change)

Location: Poland; remote or office-based work available.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex banking, financial, and regulatory change projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, quality, and outcomes.
• Translate business and regulatory objectives into delivery plans, milestones, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate work across Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Data teams.
• Manage dependencies, risks, issues, change control, financial tracking, resources, and delivery reporting.
• Lead Steering Committees, Project Boards, and senior governance forums while aligning sponsors and stakeholders.
• Manage business readiness, implementation, go-live, suppliers, and transition using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods.

Requirements

• 6+ years of project management experience, including substantial delivery experience in banking or financial services.
• Experience leading projects with significant business, regulatory, and technology complexity.
• Practical understanding of governance, controls, risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements in a regulated financial environment.
• Experience with Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Data, Operations, Lending, or Credit projects.
• Experience leading senior governance forums and managing cross-functional dependencies, stakeholders, and external suppliers.
• Professional fluency in English, supported by strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a UK bank or regulated financial institution.
• Experience with regulatory remediation, Finance or Risk transformation, regulatory reporting, or Internal Audit.
• PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or equivalent certification.
