AOG Spares Purchasing Support Specialist (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Analyze Aircraft On Ground (AOG) sourcing, loan closures, part-number risks, repetitive demand, broker costs, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Collect Customer Order Desk requirements and anticipate potential AOG needs through timely market consultation.
• Define, develop, and monitor external broker KPIs, including On-Time Release, bidding, and quotation accuracy.
• Use SUMMER data and Multifunction Taskforce workflows to improve visibility, stakeholder follow-up, quotation monitoring, and broker KPI tracking.
• Support AOG purchase and loan order backlogs, sourcing consolidation, supplier payment follow-up, delays, cancellations, overdue invoices, and reporting.
• Coordinate with FHS Inventory Planning, the COD watchtower team, loan teams, brokers, and other stakeholders on sourcing, spending thresholds, and business continuity reviews.

Requirements

• Professional experience in material support, services, purchasing, sourcing, or a related operational field.
• English and French language skills are required.
• Ability to analyze aircraft parts, including shortages, alternative part numbers, life-limited parts, repetitive demand, and high-cost items.
• Experience with purchase orders, loan orders, supplier payments, invoices, sourcing reports, and KPI monitoring.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and act with integrity while identifying potential compliance risks.
