Planner (MedTech)

Location: On-site in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia

What you will do

• Create and manage production orders based on build plans and customer demand.
• Compare production demand with available capacity, identify constraints, and escalate issues.
• Support demand forecasting, monitor forecast accuracy, and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Finance, and Distribution to support smooth production and timely delivery.
• Identify forecast gaps, trends, and supply chain issues while supporting S&OP and other supply chain projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Operations, Business, or Marketing.
• Experience in supply chain planning with knowledge of planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, customer service, and distribution.
• Strong understanding of demand forecasting and its impact on production, inventory, and business operations.
• Excellent quantitative, statistical, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work on-site in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia, including standing and walking indoors and following safety and PPE requirements.

Nice to have

• Previous warehouse and inventory control experience in a manufacturing facility.
