Intern, Transaction Services Sales (Fintech)

ING operates a wholesale banking business in Singapore, serving corporate clients across the Asia Pacific region with tailored trade and cash management solutions.

What you will do

• Support Transaction Services Sales activities throughout the lifecycle of new and existing transactions, from opportunity development through first drawdown.
• Analyze client financial statements, prepare internal credit ratings, and assess credit appetite and program pricing.
• Analyze trade and cash conversion cycles to identify working capital requirements and opportunities.
• Assist with structuring trade finance solutions, preparing commercial presentations, green light requests, and credit proposals.
• Support legal documentation, including receivables purchase, risk participation, and payment service agreements.
• Monitor existing programs, including funding requests, funded assets, settlement reconciliations, budgeting, and cost forecasting.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Willingness to learn, resilience under pressure, and the ability to work autonomously across multiple projects.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Internship commitment: 6 months, from January to June.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or financial accounting.
