Implementation Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Sydney, Australia. Hybrid work model with at least three days per week in the office for team members based near key hubs.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of integration projects from kickoff through go-live.
• Build and manage project plans, identify risks and blockers, and drive projects to on-time completion.
• Lead customer governance, stakeholder meetings, action tracking, and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, Analytics, and customer teams to meet fraud prevention and go-live objectives.
• Translate API operations, JavaScript, JSON, and web or database concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Track project health and delivery metrics while improving implementation playbooks and processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects for enterprise customers.
• Experience running multiple concurrent projects, creating structured plans, and delivering them on time.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, accountability, and proactive ownership.
• Working technical fluency with API integrations, JavaScript, JSON, and web or database technologies; hands-on development is not required.
• Experience working in a multinational environment.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Sydney, Australia setup, including at least three office days per week near a hirify.global hub.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments or ecommerce.
• Proficiency with SQL or Python.
• Experience with customer segmentation or trend analysis across large datasets.
