TL;DR
Business Project Manager (Project Management): Leading complex cross-functional projects across NRMA Membership and Roadside from planning through implementation, with an accent on governance, stakeholder coordination, and business readiness. Focus on managing project risks, budgets, dependencies, technology releases, and change activities across Agile and Waterfall environments.
Location: Hybrid work across Sydney Olympic Park and Sydney CBD offices, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office; working from home as agreed and required

What you will do
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects from scoping and planning through implementation and post-implementation review.
- Facilitate workshops, planning sessions and stage-gate activities.
- Coordinate change management, communications, training and business readiness with stakeholders and change leaders.
- Manage risks, issues, actions, dependencies, budgets, forecasts, variances and change requests.
- Coordinate development, testing and release activities with Technology.
- Prepare status, budget and variance reporting and ensure compliance with investment, data, risk, procurement and financial governance requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience, including leadership of complex projects and programs involving multiple initiatives or delivery squads.
- Project management certification and practical experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.
- Strong project planning, governance, reporting, stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, actuals and variances, as well as release-level management.
- Ability to coach and support junior project managers.
- Experience with Microsoft Project 365, PowerPoint, Excel and JIRA delivery tools is highly regarded.
Nice to have
- PRINCE2 Foundation Certification.
- Knowledge of NRMA business operations.
