What you will do

• Lead accurate and timely payroll and expenses processing.
• Coach, mentor and develop Payroll Administrators.
• Drive improvements to payroll accuracy, efficiency, controls and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC, pension and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support payroll audits, reporting and annual submissions, including gender pay reporting.
• Build relationships with Finance, HR, external stakeholders and the wider business while providing payroll support.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of payroll principles, legislation and compliance requirements.
• Previous payroll experience, including reconciliations and payroll reporting.
• Experience leading, developing or mentoring team members.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
