Project Manager - Finance (Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Hybrid role based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, at 3rd Emile Zola Street

This is a full-time, two-year fixed-term contract that may be extended to a permanent position.

What you will do

• Manage finance-related project plans for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
• Define scopes, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, decision points, and ownership across the transaction lifecycle.
• Coordinate financial due diligence, data requests, integration readiness, and post-close stabilization.
• Partner with systems and data teams on finance-system integration, data migration, reporting alignment, and control readiness.
• Track integration costs, synergies, savings initiatives, risks, issues, and financial performance against the approved business case.
• Prepare status reports and executive presentations while facilitating steering committees and cross-functional working sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience in project management within finance, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, transaction services, consulting, or financial transformation.
• Knowledge of financial statements, accounting processes, financial controls, and business-case development.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and dependencies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including executive-level presentation experience.
• Proficiency with project-management tools and financial reporting or analysis tools, with sound judgment when handling confidential information.
