Logistics Project Manager

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid remote/office

What you will do

• Manage and control international logistics projects according to transport contracts, timelines, budgets, specifications, and service requirements.
• Coordinate shipments of heavy-lift, over-dimensioned, general, and other cargo types.
• Own logistics budgets, identify savings opportunities, and mitigate project risks.
• Consolidate and prepare goods according to customer priorities and coordinate optimal shipping schedules.
• Manage contractual requirements for consignments, including export controls, customs duties, banking, insurance, and dangerous goods requirements.
• Create, check, and coordinate export, import, and customs documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in business administration or a related field, preferably logistics.
• Several years of professional logistics experience, including international projects with customer- and country-specific requirements.
• Knowledge of logistics and contract law, risk management, claims, opportunities, and related processes.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Excellent MS Office skills, including Excel, Teams, and SharePoint, plus basic SAP knowledge.
• Strong analytical, customer-oriented, solution-oriented, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
