SAP Design Functional Lead (SAF)

Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States; hybrid work with onsite and remote work

Salary: $60 per hour on a 1099 contract

What you will do

• Lead functional and data design for secure agency-level financial reporting.
• Define reporting requirements, organizational hierarchies, and data-segregation rules.
• Design row-level security, role-based access, reconciliation criteria, and acceptance measures.
• Preserve the existing enterprise reporting baseline while introducing functional and data design improvements.
• Translate business reporting needs into functional and technical requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, data security, or functional data design.
• Experience defining row-level security, role-based access, and organizational data segregation.
• Strong SQL and data-analysis skills.
• Experience with cloud data and BI/reporting platforms.
• Experience performing source-to-report reconciliation and defining test cases.
• Ability to obtain an MBI security clearance.

Nice to have

• Snowflake experience.
• Federal financial data experience.
