What you will do

• Shadow experienced Developers and participate in full life-cycle software development.
• Help create and enhance applications using C#, .NET, Vue, HTML, and CSS.
• Write readable, maintainable code that meets user requirements and quality standards.
• Implement, test, and deploy code changes through the development process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs while collaborating with the development team.
• Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews, using AI tools such as CoPilot, Gemini, and Notebook LM.

Requirements

• Currently studying toward a STEM degree with a target of 2:1 or higher, or completing a STEM Master's degree that includes a 12-month placement.
• Relevant study in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar subject.
• Basic understanding of C#, VB.NET, Vue, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong interest in software development and motivation to learn new technologies.
• Clear communication, structured thinking, active listening, and effective collaboration skills.
• Availability for the 12-month placement in Pontefract, Yorkshire.
