Director of Manufacturing (Site Leader)

Location: Redmond, Oregon, United States. The role operates across office and factory environments, with regular visits to manufacturing facilities and exposure to industrial conditions. Relocation assistance is available; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Establish and execute a multi-year manufacturing strategy aligned with organizational growth initiatives.
• Lead operational and cultural transformation across a manufacturing footprint exceeding 300,000 square feet and a workforce of more than 500 employees.
• Advance Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, automation, smart factory technologies, digital manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Guide capital investments, capacity planning, facility expansion, manufacturing technology roadmaps, and resource allocation.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic decisions, risk mitigation, profitability, productivity, quality, safety, throughput, and delivery performance.
• Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team, strengthen succession planning, and develop scalable organizational capabilities.

Requirements

• Four-year ABET-accredited engineering degree with significant manufacturing technology experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, including leadership of large-scale initiatives.
• Proven experience leading large-scale manufacturing organizations and delivering operational and cultural transformation.
• Experience with automation, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Strong financial acumen, including capital investment and operating budget management.
• Ability to work in office and production environments, lift up to 50 lbs., use required PPE, and comply with safety-sensitive drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or certifications in quality control or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience with Six Sigma, value stream optimization, smart factory strategy, facility expansion, and cost optimization.
