Director of Production Operations (AI)

Location: On site at CDI facilities in Avon and Avon Lake, Ohio, United States; periodic travel to other hirify.global Manufacturing sites may be required.

What you will do

• Translate enterprise strategy into manufacturing capability, long-range strategy, and capital planning.
• Own safety, quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness across production operations in multiple facilities.
• Establish data-driven performance metrics and reduce cost of poor quality.
• Deploy Lean methodology, AI, automation, and advanced analytics to transform production throughput, quality, and cost performance.
• Build a flexible production organization and develop plant managers and future operational leaders.
• Drive strategic and operational decisions with strong ethical standards and risk-based judgment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of plant management or manufacturing operations leadership experience, including leadership across multiple facilities.
• Demonstrated success leading transformational operational change using AI, automation, or advanced digital tools.
• Deep Lean Manufacturing expertise and experience translating business strategy into scalable growth.
• Proven P&L ownership, capital allocation, and major ROI-driven investment experience.
• Ability to work on site at facilities in Avon and Avon Lake, Ohio.

• MBA or advanced degree.
• Experience with facilities expansion or acquisition integration.
