Lead Analytical Lab Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Zhunan, Taiwan; onsite laboratory role

What you will do

• Execute daily sample analysis and materials testing for routine requests, R&D projects, customer engagements, product investigations, manufacturing problem solving, and tool troubleshooting.
• Provide analytical support for new products, raw materials, and capability development.
• Operate laboratory equipment, monitor tool performance, and perform basic maintenance.
• Generate, analyze, and summarize data in analytical reports.
• Collaborate with R&D, Field Service, Product Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of analytical laboratory experience for the lead technician level.
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analysis, analytical method development, validation, optimization, instrument operation, and laboratory safety.
• Ability to apply analytical technologies including optical micro-spectroscopy, mechanical testing, thermo-analysis, polymer property analysis, surface imaging, elemental analysis, chromatography, or particle characterization.
• Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills required.
• Good computer and software skills, precision in assigned work, troubleshooting ability, teamwork, and independent problem solving.

• Major in analytical chemistry or material testing.
• Experience with analytical methodologies in CMP technology.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or the semiconductor industry.
• Training, internships, or coursework in chemical manufacturing or semiconductors.
• Experience working in a global environment.
