EHS Project Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid role based in New Clark City, Philippines, initially in Baguio during the design and planning phases. Regular travel between Baguio and New Clark City and occasional international travel are required.

What you will do

• Serve as the site's Pollution Control Officer and manage environmental permits, registrations, reporting, inspections, audits, and regulatory engagement.
• Lead environmental and EHS activities across facility design, fit-out, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness.
• Provide technical guidance on facility, infrastructure, utility, process, wastewater treatment, chemical processing, and special-process designs.
• Oversee EHS requirements for aerospace manufacturing activities, including anodizing, chemical processing, penetrant inspection, blasting, hydraulic testing, and wastewater treatment.
• Establish EHS management systems, governance processes, reporting mechanisms, emergency response capabilities, and the long-term site EHS organisation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, Corporate EHS, and Philippine regulatory authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in environmental compliance, environmental management, or EHS roles within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine environmental legislation, permitting requirements, PEZA requirements, and regulatory compliance obligations.
• Experience with environmental compliance programmes, regulatory reporting, permitting, inspections, pollution prevention, wastewater management, hazardous waste, and chemical management.
• Experience with risk assessments, hazard identification, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills for working with regulators, senior leaders, engineers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Pollution Control Officer accreditation and experience with PEZA-regulated operations.
• Experience with BCDA, DENR-EMB, Philippine regulatory authorities, environmental permitting, and compliance reporting.
• Experience with wastewater treatment, hazardous chemicals and waste, anodizing, surface treatments, and other aerospace special processes.
• Experience facilitating HAZID, PHA, design risk assessments, and Management of Change activities.
• Experience implementing or auditing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, or supporting major facility expansions in highly regulated manufacturing.
