Payroll Project Manager

Location: 6750 Building, Ayala, Makati City, Philippines; hybrid work model with remote work from home several days a week.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end payroll implementations, optimizations, transitions, and other complex initiatives across multiple countries, systems, and vendors.
• Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, RAID logs, status reporting, dependencies, risks, and delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate with Payroll Operations, HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, IT, vendors, and consultants.
• Lead change activities, communications, training coordination, readiness tracking, stakeholder updates, and steering committee materials.
• Oversee vendor transitions, RFP support, SLA delivery, data migration, parallel runs, and cutover activities.
• Drive compliance, audit readiness, documentation, process improvement, standardization, automation, and digital enablement.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries or entities.
• Working knowledge of payroll accounting, reconciliations, month-end processes, compliance, audits, and statutory requirements.
• Proven experience leading complex payroll or HR transformation projects, including lifecycle, dependency, risk, and change management.
• Experience managing payroll vendors, consultants, and third-party providers and collaborating with HR, IT, Finance, Tax, and Legal teams.
• Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems, time and attendance, and general ledger integrations, with the ability to provide data-driven solutions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, including leading meetings, steering committees, cross-functional forums, and coaching team members.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-country payroll implementations or vendor transitions.
• Exposure to shared services or global payroll operating models.
• Project Management certification.
