Design Project Manager (WordPress)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary customer contact throughout website delivery, from onboarding and discovery through production, review, revisions, and launch.
• Manage multiple website projects, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and customer expectations.
• Coordinate work across Design, Copy, Quality Control, Marketing, and other fulfillment partners.
• Lead customer meetings, onboarding sessions, project reviews, and website launch readiness activities.
• Maintain project documentation and customer records, identify risks, remove blockers, and escalate issues.
• Coordinate handoffs into ongoing marketing services and support operational improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in project management, project coordination, website delivery, customer success, account management, or a related field.
• Strong customer communication, relationship-building, organization, documentation, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence leading customer-facing meetings, setting expectations, de-escalating challenges, and solving problems.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and balance customer experience with business and operational objectives.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress.

Nice to have

• Experience in a customer-facing or agency environment.
• Experience managing website design or development projects.
• Familiarity with website-building tools, AI-assisted website creation tools, or project and case-management platforms such as Pega.
• Basic understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and website optimization.
• Experience coordinating high-volume service delivery across Design, Copy, Marketing, or Quality Control teams.
