Senior Project Manager (Commercial Excellence)

Location: Hybrid work between on-site presence, international travel, and remote work, based close to a hirify.global location in Herford or Günzburg, Germany; Sundbyberg, Sweden; Nottingham, UK; Nanterre, France; or Madrid, Spain.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end execution of global 80/20 value-creation initiatives, including portfolio simplification, pricing and margin recovery, customer and product focus, go-to-market redesign, and operating-model change.
• Translate customer, product, price-cost-margin, and cost-to-serve analysis into sequenced, funded, and owned roadmaps.
• Build business cases, quantify financial impact, track committed outcomes, and connect operational simplification to growth, margin, and freed-up capacity.
• Establish governance through structured reviews, decision forums, KPIs, financial tracking, and roadblock resolution.
• Drive alignment, accountability, communication, and adoption across Strategy, Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Water Infrastructure leadership.
• Prepare board-ready progress, impact, and risk updates while coaching initiative owners.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in multinational organizations across strategy, operations, commercial, or transformation.
• 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs with cross-border scope.
• Direct experience with 80/20 or value-creation methodologies, such as Strategex, plus expertise in Lean, Operational Excellence, Pricing, or Commercial Excellence.
• Strong understanding of price-cost-margin, cost-to-serve, portfolio economics, and financial business-case development.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into measurable commercial and financial results.
• Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.

Nice to have

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with pricing, sales-force effectiveness, or go-to-market design.
• Multilingual and cross-regional experience.
