A2R DS Team Lead (Accounting)

Location: Hybrid role based in Taguig, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines. The position may require shifts aligned with global assignments in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia, plus up to 0–5% international travel.

Johnson & Johnson MedTech develops healthcare and medical technology solutions, with this role supporting the DePuy Synthes orthopaedics business.

What you will do

• Lead accounting operations for inventory, distribution, COGS, costing, and Other Costs Not In Standard.
• Execute timely financial period close activities in line with SLAs, compliance requirements, Internal Audit, and SOX controls.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of reported actuals, including balance sheet reconciliations, reserves, revaluations, and adjustments.
• Partner with Supply Chain colleagues, process SMEs, and operational contacts to maintain global alignment and documentation.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members and BPO partners.
• Identify and implement process improvements, efficiency opportunities, and global strategy solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline.
• 4–6 years of professional experience and 1–2 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent English is required.
• Knowledge of accounting policies, compliance requirements, internal controls, audits, and US GAAP.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and Microsoft Excel.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, MBA, or another financial certification.
• Experience in a multinational shared service center, BPO, or global Account to Report function.
• Digital or intelligent automation capabilities.
• Additional language skills.
