Information Security Engineer

What you will do

• Harden AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts, including IAM, EKS, VPC networking, KMS, and infrastructure-as-code configurations.
• Own company-wide identity and access management, including SSO, least-privilege IAM, just-in-time access, secrets management, and access reviews.
• Build detection and alerting pipelines, lead alert triage and incident containment, and conduct post-incident reviews.
• Secure the corporate environment through endpoint management, SaaS security posture management, and zero-trust network access.
• Evaluate third-party vendors and integrations for security and privacy risks.
• Automate technical controls and evidence collection for SOC 2 and GDPR compliance programs.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of hands-on security engineering experience in cloud and infrastructure security.
• Deep AWS security expertise, including IAM, Organizations/SCPs, CloudTrail, EKS, network hardening, and cloud posture tools such as Wiz.
• Experience with detection engineering and incident response using GuardDuty, CrowdStrike, or equivalent tools.
• Ability to review Pulumi, Terraform, or similar infrastructure-as-code for security issues.
• Ability to write code and automation in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience administering identity and endpoint platforms such as Google Workspace, Kandji, and CrowdStrike.

Nice to have

• Experience at a cloud security company or security-forward startup.
• Familiarity with zero-trust networking and secrets tools such as Tailscale, Cloudflare, or HashiCorp Vault.
• Experience securing ML infrastructure, GPU clusters, or hardware and manufacturing supply chains.
• Hands-on experience building a SOC 2 program at an early-stage company.
