Cloud Security Engineer

Location: On-site in New York City, United States

Salary: $180,000–$300,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Harden GCP cloud environments, Kubernetes, containers, networks, IAM, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments.
• Protect video and metadata ETL pipelines through encryption, isolation, logging, and observability.
• Manage privileged access, workload identity, key rotation, PKI, KMS, and Secret Manager.
• Secure the software supply chain through dependency scanning, artifact provenance, and hardened GitHub Actions runners.
• Run threat modeling, red-team and tabletop exercises, incident response, and external penetration tests.
• Maintain compliance for creator data and AI training data.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience securing GCP environments; AWS security experience is also applicable.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, workload isolation, network segmentation, IAM, and secure-by-default infrastructure.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, cloud-native secrets management, and PKI.
• Knowledge of data pipeline security, encryption, SIEM, logging, and observability.
• Experience with threat modeling, incident response, red-team exercises, and penetration testing.
• Ability to work on-site at the New York City headquarters.
